EDNA S. BRADSHAW
September 24, 1924 – December 8, 2012
ZEBULON – Edna Smith Bradshaw, 88, died Saturday. A native of Johnston County she was daughter to the late Dock Joseph & Violia Winstead Smith. Edna was retired from Westinghouse after 32 years of service. She was a determined, strong woman who devoted her life to her family. She was preceded in death by siblings, Prentice, Ruth, Neva, Lucille, & Lydia.
She is survived by her husband and friend of 67years, John Duffy Bradshaw, daughter, Betty Lou Cornell (Clyde) both of Zebulon, brother, D. J. Smith (Sarah) of Durham, grandchildren, Greg Smith (Karen), step grandson, Greg Cornell (Christy), great grandchildren, Luke & Rayleigh Smith and Mackenzie & Payton Cornell, special niece, Delores Brantley, special nephew, Lloyd Murphy, and many other beloved nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Corinth Baptist Church.
Funeral service 3 pm, Monday, Corinth Baptist Church. Visitation 1:30-2:45 pm, in the church fellowship hall, prior to the service. Interment, Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
