Dwan Carol Roberson Light
November 5, 1952 – February 21, 2019
ZEBULON – Dwan Roberson Light, 66, passed away Thursday. She was born in Washington County to the late Cecil and Allie Roberson. She worked for First Citizens Bank in Wendell for 25 years. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting and reading. She also had a passion for spending time at the beach with her husband.
Funeral, 2pm, Tuesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Light of Zebulon; son, Josh Light of Raleigh; brother, Bill Roberson (Paulette) of Murfreesboro, NC; niece, Wendy Corbitt (Brad) of Rolesville and great nephew, Addison Corbitt of Rolesville.

Jimmy I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dwan. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with You and the rest of the family. She was always a joy to be around and I am sure will be missed by many.
I used to work with Dwan at the bank many years ago. She always made me laugh! She was a dear woman who I know is going to be missed. Peace, Dwan.
I worked with Dwan for many years, She was such a sweet and caring person and I will miss her greatly. My condolences to Jimmy and the family.

I am sorry to hear of Dwan’s passing. She was a sweet lady. We worked together at Video Network in Wendell. With her working in Wendell & me working in Zebulon, I was still able to see Dwan from time to time during our lunch breaks. Jimmy and Josh – We were so terribly sorry to hear of Dwan’s passing. She certainly knew the time remaining until retirement and we shared stories of what her plans were. Please know she is in God’s loving arms as they look upon you.
