Duane Charles Drinkwine, Sr.

LOUISBURG – Duane Charles Drinkwine, Sr., 65, passed away in his home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Duane was born in Chicago, IL to the late Clarence Drinkwine & Wilma Sams Schmuhl. Duane honorably served his country in the US Marines Corp. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, traveling abroad, and spending priceless time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Memorial service will begin at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Pilot Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Richard Price. The family will speak with friends following the service.
Duane leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Maria Rodriguez Drinkwine; his son, Duane Charles Drinkwine, Jr; his daughter, Nicole Drinkwine (Ethan); his grandchildren, Jaxon Faulkner, Kohen Faulkner, Mia Drinkwine; his sisters, Char Sircher (Roy), Vickie Bolen and his brother, Michael Drinkwine. He was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Ledesma
