I have known sweet Doris and her entire family since I was 9 years old. We grew up playing with the kids and hanging out a lot with them at the old hunting club the men were apart of. They were always cooking something and making sure everyone around the community didn’t go hungry. That seemed to be the family event of most of this community! No one goes hungry! I will miss the days when she rode her golf cart to get the newspaper every morning even when she got to the point of not being steady on her feet she never let that stop her. She would ask for me to get it though whenever they would toss the newspaper in the ditch. Sending prayers love and warm memories of such a wonderful friend in Christ!

My condolences in the loss of your matriarch aka mom. I remember her and Mr Luther from visits with them at the beach. Sweet lady. Sending prayers for peace and comfort. Hugs and love to all.
