Doris Ann Sanders

Doris Ann Sanders, passed away at the age of 90, after living a life filled with love and moments to remember with those she called family and friends. She was born in Wake Co. to the late Robert Lee & Katie Elizabeth Harris Sanders. Doris had a wonderful career, most recently with JCPenney as an accountant. Doris also had a few hobbies of things she truly enjoyed but sewing was her passion. She was very talented with sewing machines and created some wonderful pieces. Her memory will be as a treasure, never to be forgotten. Along with her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Hugh Sanders, Larry Wayne Sanders and Roberta Sanders Scott.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Hephzibah Baptist Church, located at 1794 Wendell Blvd, Wendell NC with visitation from 12:00pm to 12:45pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh NC.
Doris is survived by her sisters, Joyce S. Terry (Wallace), Norma Marshburn and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church.
