Donna Kaye Vaughan House
May 21, 1954 – February 10, 2024

WENDELL – Donna Kaye House, 69, of Wendell, NC passed away on February 10th, 2024. Donna Kaye was born on May 21st 1954 to Kathryn Painter Vaughan (“Dunk”) and the late Donald Wayne Vaughan in Cumberland County North Carolina.

After Donna Kaye graduated from Vaiden Whitley High School she went on to complete a tenure at Wake Technical Community College followed by many dedicated years with Capital Ford of Raleigh and Snider Electric of Knightdale.

In 2014 Donna Kaye retired from The Oliver House in Wendell after a conquering fight with Hodgkins Lymphoma. During retirement Donna Kaye devoted her time to her son Jason and grandchildren Alexa, Damein, and Hayden. In December of 2024, Donna Kaye took on a new title and she welcomed her first great grandchild, Madelyn.

Donna Kaye is now reunited in eternity with her son Brandon House.

A Graveside service will be at Greenmount Cemetery, 536 W Academy St., Wendell NC at 3:00pm on Friday, February 16, 2024. The family will receive guests immediately following the service at Jason and Casy’s home.

She is survived by her mother Myrtle Kathryn Painter Vaughan; her brother Doug Vaughan (Carolyn) and her beloved son Jason House (Casy).

She also leaves behind her grandchildren Alexa Arnold (Jordan), Damein House (Katelyn), Hayden House and great granddaughter Madelyn House.

She bids farewell to many other friends and family members as well as her beloved dog Daisy, who will sadly miss her.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:45pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Wendell NC.

Flowers are welcomed.
