Donald Wayne Tart
April 1, 1939- August 1, 2026
Knightdale – Donald Wayne Tart, 87, went home to be with the Lord and reunite with the love of his life, his wife, Peggy F. Tart, Saturday. He was born in Johnston County to the late Carson C. & Arbie Langdon Tart. He retired from Bobby Murray Chevrolet. Mr. Tart loved his granddaughter Gabby, bluegrass and old country music, and watching Nascar.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Ipock (Gary) and Juanita Clark (Glen); sons, Mitchell Tart (Robin) and Jason Tart (Jennifer); siblings, Pearlene Evans, Randolph Tart (Pat), Geraldine Tart, Judy Harr (Bill), Helen Stancil (Russell) and his granddaughter, Gabby Ipock.
Visitation will be 2-3 pm, Tuesday, Hales Chapel Baptist Church with funeral to follow at 3. Burial will follow in the church cemetery,
