Devera Trogdon Eggimann
December 23, 1937 – March 10, 2026
WENDELL – Devera Trogdon Eggimann, 88, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born in Asheboro, NC, December 23, 1937, to the late Harlan and Bessie Bray Trogdon. Devera was self-employed, owning and operating Swiss Masters, a Cake and Candy Supply store in Raleigh, NC, and later, assisting her husband with his company, Electronic Products Design.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Peter Eggimann and her brother, David Trogdon.
Devera is survived by her daughter, Michelle Eggimann Glidewell (husband, Tony); grandson, Travis Glidewell; sister, Byrdette Bledsoe; niece, Joanna Poole; and nephew, James Medlin (wife, Wendy).
The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:30pm – 2:30pm on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC 27591.
Entombment will immediately follow the visitation at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, NC 27597.
