Dennis M Hinton, 11-5-1962 to 9-22-2019
Dennis was a beloved Hubster and Daddy. He was full of mischievous ways and loved to make people laugh. He never knew a stranger and touched everyone he met. From the Plumbing supply houses, to Waffle House, to Church and to the many homes he went in to do service calls. He cared for his customers just about as much as he cared for his family. He was very honest and upfront with everyone he met. He had a big heart that he wore on his sleeve and he was cared for more than he ever knew.
Dennis was so proud of his daughter, Lori Beth. Everywhere he went he bragged about her and talked non-stop about her. He was very proud of her college choices and sticking with what she knows best. He loved her fiercely but also argued with her just as much because she is just like him in almost every way.
Dennis was married to his wife, Beth, of 30 years. He almost scared her to death the day he asked her to marry him but she said yes anyway. It took a 5 page letter that he received on his birthday from Beth and a flat tire for him to realize that she was the one for him. He brought her out of her shell and taught her many things over the years. She in turn loved him unconditionally and brought out the best in him.
Dennis is survived by his mother, Beulah Hinton, niece, Candace Lichlyter (Jeff) & proceeded in death by his father Lester M Hinton and brother Randy D Hinton.
17 If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new! 18 All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between us and himself, and God gave us the work of telling everyone about the peace we can have with him. 19 God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. In Christ, God did not hold the world guilty of its sins. And he gave us this message of peace. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 (NCV)
9 Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NCV)
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Now God’s presence is with people, and he will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them and will be their God.[b] 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain, because all the old ways are gone.” Revelations 21:3-4 (NCV)
