ZEBULON – Deloris Bradshaw Brantley, 87, of Zebulon, NC, went to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

She was born on November 24, 1938, in Johnston County, NC, a daughter of the late Wilbert Henry Bradshaw and Erma Lucille Smith Bradshaw. She worked in Line Assembly for Square D, Inc. for over thirty years. She had a love for art and enjoyed spending time painting. She always enjoyed a trip to Bojangles, a cold Pepsi, and spending time with her friends at the beauty shop. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Mike Brantley (Elsie), of Benson, NC; daughter, Lou Ann Brantley, of Lizard Lick, NC; five grandchildren, Christy Hrebien, Christopher Brantley, Ryan Whitaker, Cameron Whitaker, and Morgan Whitaker; and a great grandchild, Crew Brantley.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Lloyd Brantley; and a sister, Judy Bland.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor Gary Williams officiating. Interment will follow the service in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Rd, Knightdale, NC, 27545.
