Della Mae Hicks
November 12,1921 – February 21, 2017
ZEBULON – Della Mae Hicks, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday. She was born in Wake County to the late Morris & Mary Mattie Lee Carter Hicks. She worked for Electric Storage & Battery. She was a determined woman who loved her family very much. Della was preceded in death by her husband Willard Hicks.
Funeral service 11 am, Friday, Strickland Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Ann Brannan Ferrell (J.B.) of Zebulon, & grandson, Richard Lee Denton.
