Deborah Poole Glover

Deborah (Debbie) Poole Glover, 67, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Debbie delighted in and is survived by her two children – daughter, Stacey Adair Hinnant; son, Daniel “Chase” Glover (Felicia) and three granddaughters Skylar, Avery, and Paisley. She is also survived by her mother, Carolyn Chasteen; older sister, Teresa Marshburn (Kirby) and their family; and her younger brother, Jamie Poole.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents and father, James (Jimmy) L. Poole.

Debbie grew up in Raleigh, NC before settling in Wendell, NC. She attended Sanderson High School. Throughout her life, Debbie has loved beach music, long conversations full of laughter, quality time with her children and grandchildren, and placing her trust in Jesus as her faithful companion and provider. We will all miss Debbie’s carefree love of life and heartfelt love for people, uncanny one-liners, contagious laugh, tenderheartedness and encouragement here on earth but rejoice that she is with her Savior forever.

The family will gather for a private viewing on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Funeral services will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory in Wendell. Burial to follow at Montlawn Cemetery in Raleigh.
