I am praying for Kenny and your children and grandchildren that they may know peace and be comforted by how much you loved them. You are already greatly missed. Till we meet again lady! XOXO

She was truly a VERY special lady and I know she will be missed by all who knew her. Prayers to you Kenny as I know the coming weeks and months will be difficult, but rest assured that you will see Deborah again one glorious day, as she is now resting peacefully in the presence of the LORD. I have known you two less than a year and often told my wife about how you two reminded me of us. I remember taking that 1st call from Deborah and finding out y’all knew Wayne (my wife’s son) and she carried on about how you and Wayne were 2 peas in a pod. When meeting with you and Deborah I could see how lucky you both were to have each other. Deborah was a beautiful person and soul as you could see it in her actions. I am so sorry for your loss Kenny. The future will no doubt be very trying and difficult as you move through this journey, we call life. Lean on your family and friends to assist you in this time of need. I truly feel that Deborah will be by your side for a while as I can only image how hard it was on her to leave you Kenny. Time will not heal you as Deborah was so much to you but fear not that God will see you through. I will see you Thursday. I’m a phone call away brother – God Bless

Deborah was a sweet person and a lovely friend. We met in 2016 when I went to work for the State Treasurer. We become fast friends, and our little group in Accounting enjoyed lunch together most days. She made me laugh so much! I used to tell her I didn’t know how she came up with the stuff she would say. Norm and I enjoyed the times we got together outside of work with her and Kenny. She’ll always have a special place in our lives as she did our engagement photographs, and her and Kenny joined us in our wedding where she was also our photographer. We visited with her in mid-November at her home, and am happy I got to hug her and spend some time with her. You are at peace sweet friend, but you will be missed.

My heart is sadden of Debra’s passing….taken from us far too soon.As past co-workers at NCDOR, she was such a wonderful person to work with . Although we moved on over the years , we still kept in touch…rather it running into each other shopping…or one of my memories of her calling so excited about new grandbaby and wanting me to make one of my “famous baby blankets”….when she spoke of you…Kenny, Amanda and Wendy ,you could just feel her love for you all ! Find comfort that she is at peace and forever in our hearts.
