Clarence Bruce Pendergrass, Jr.
February 16, 1961 – July 1, 2025

WENDELL – Bruce passed away peacefully and comfortably at home on July 1, 2025 at approximately 10:47pm.  Bruce was born in Raleigh, NC on February 16, 1961 to father, Clarence Bruce Pendergrass, Sr. and mother, Joann Pendergrass.

He is survived by two sons, David N. Pendergrass and Dustin L. Perry (Heather M. Perry), three grandsons, Cayden Pendergrass, Brantlee Perry and Maverick Perry, three siblings, Ronald Pendergrass, Donald Pendergrass and Cheryl Campbell.

Bruce was kindhearted, stubborn, hilarious and a hardworking man.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He also enjoyed watching NC State college basketball.  Bruce will truly be missed by everyone.  He was a good dad and the best granddad anyone could hope for.

P.S.  Tell the Lord, we said “What up, Duck?”

A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00pm on Monday, July 7, 2025, in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory, Wendell.  The family will greet friends at the conclusion of the service in the foyer.
