Christopher Gerron Sewell
April 3, 1974 – June 25, 2026
LOUISBURG – Christopher Gerron Sewell unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 52. He was born in Wake County to Clarence Thomas Sewell & Donna Bullock. Chris was a talented and very skilled craftsman. He could do nearly anything with his hands. He had a huge love for guns and could often be found at the gun range for target practice. His skill with firearms extended to building guns also. Chris loved the ocean as well and was often seen with a fishing rod in his hands, seeing what the day’s catch would be. Above all, his belief in God remained confident and true. Chris will be missed, the love he showed will never be forgotten and his family will forever hold him in a special place in their hearts.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Lynn Sewell his parents, Donna Bullock (Mike Crouse) and Tom Sewell; his children, Geron Sewell, Thomas Sewell (Jessie Whitley), Benjamin Sewell and Liam Sewell; his grandchildren, Paislee, Waylon and his brother, Jon Collins.
A Memorial service, officiated by Pastor Glen Brock, will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, July 13, 2026, in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, located in Wendell, NC.
