Christopher “Chris” Andrew Welker
November 7, 1996 – July 4, 2016
WENDELL – Christopher “Chris” Andrew Welker, 19 asleep in Christ. He was born in Wake County. Chris graduated from East Wake High School and was attending ECU. He loved playing hockey, wrestling, and fishing. He was very active in Our Savior Lutheran Church. Chris was an all-around sarcastic happy young man whose forte was bringing joy into other peoples lives.
A memorial service will be held July 16 at 10 am in Our Savior Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph M. & Carole Nickola Welker of the home, sisters, Nicole Batten (Chad) of Lucama, Ashleigh Lewis (Chad), Andrea Carroll, & Jessica Welker all of Wendell, grandparents Wayne & Peggy Nickola his “grossmom & grosspop”, Donna Welker, niece Skylee, nephews, Taylor, Tyson, Tate, & Carter.
