Christopher “Chris” M. Lee
December 29, 1971 – May 3, 2025

Christopher M. Lee, lovingly known as “Chris,” passed away on May 3, 2025, at age of 53. Born on December 29, 1971, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the cherished son of Sharon and Don Lee. Chris was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A retired Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Chris dedicated his professional life to “ensuring the safety and quality of numerous projects. Outside of work, he found joy in cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, watching the Yankee’s with his dad and sharing his love of sports with friends and family.

Above all, Chris took the greatest pride in his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Marie Lee; his son, Coty Lee; his daughter, Chelsea Hill, and her husband, Tre Hill; and his adored grandchild, Cal Hill. He is also survived by his parents, Sharon and Don Lee; his brother, Terry Lee and his wife, Linda Lee; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Chris’s legacy lives on in the values and love he instilled in his children and the memories he created with those he cherished.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC 27591.
