RALEIGH – Cecil Zeno Keel III, 56, passed away on Friday, July 2nd, 2021. He was born in Martin County to Cecil Zeno Keel, Jr. & Mildred Joyce Williams. He worked as a Truck Driver for Boney’s Trucking. He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Patricia Lynn Keel of the home, mother, Mildred Joyce Williams, daughter, Tiffany Nicole Marshburn, sons, Dustin Glenn Keel and fiancée Sara, Bradley Cecil Keel, step-brother, Michael Moore, and grandchildren, Austin, Haylee, Nataleigh, Harper, Ryleigh, and Savannah.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, July 10th, 2021 in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. www.stricklandfuneral.com.

What a giant of a man! Cecil had many, many friends…I was one of them! We were neighbors when our children.were small. Lots of great memories hanging out at each others homes. My heart goes out to Pat, Tiffany, Dusty and Bradley…Cecil was the best!! Praying that you all will find comfort and peace in knowing Cecil loved you all more than life itself! As I know this wonderful family for many years, pop’s as I used to call Mr. Cecil was a beautiful human being, friend, father and husband. The great family Keel is like a family to me I’m so great full to be able to know pops and the loss of this beautiful person, I know is hard to you guys my deeply condolences to the family Keel my prayers are with you guys and I know pop’s is in angel looking out for y’all.

It’s hard to believe he’s gone.. he will be truly missed. I’ve always admire the love he had for his wife and children. They were his everything. .. he was so proud of his children and Grandchildren. On many occasions , he shared that with me. And just about every time I saw him , he would say something about how lost he would be with out pat.. I was blessed to know him, from his big smile and Laffs to the story’s and jokes we shared. I was proud to call him a friend, co worker and brother… God bless his family and friends. heaven as gain a a Great man ! Intill we meet again , big C rest in peace……

Wow..Didn’t know he had passed away. We go back to our Colonial Trailer Park and Wellcome Middle School days. He was a really good guy and will surely be missed.
