MIDDLESEX – Catherine “Cathy” Baker Whitley, 60, died Thursday. She worked for the DMV. She was daughter of Thelma Phillps & James Howard Baker of Wendell
She is also survived by her children, Jennifer Maddrey of Wilson, Danyell Bird of Middlesex, & “Sley” Whitley, Jr. of Middlesex, siblings, Jimmy Baker of Raleigh, Joann Young, & Carryl Silvers, both of Wendell, & 6 grandchildren.
Funeral service 2pm, Saturday Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial, Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.
