ZEBULON – Carolyn JoAnn Medlin Brown, 60, died peacefully at home Saturday with her family by her side. A native of Nash County she was daughter to the late Benjamin Eddie & Saretha Jean Lewis Medlin. She worked for many years with Accudyne as well as with the N. C. D. M. V. in Zebulon. JoAnn loved crocheting and flower arranging. She was truly one of the most giving and caring persons you would ever meet. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Wayne Medlin.
Funeral service 11 am, Tuesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, Hollywood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Eugene Brown of the home, sons, Tracy Brown (Rhonda) of Nashville, Lenny Brown (Lora) of Bailey, siblings, Bennie Medlin (Glenda) of Wendell, Janice Faye Marsh of Middlesex, Kathy Curtis (Churchill) of Middlesex, grandchildren, Donna, Taylor, Landon, & Kyndall, and great granddaughter, Madilyn Paige.
