Carol Sue Snyder Rich
December 25, 1947 – February 1, 2025

WENDELL – Carol Sue Rich, 77, peacefully passed on to her eternal rest in glory surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania to the late John Robert & Edith Upole Snyder.
The family relocated to Ashtabula County, Ohio where she spent most of her life. She worked as an office manager in the construction industry for several years before retiring to North Carolina in 2014.

Carol was truly one of a kind. When she wasn’t working, you could find her working on yet another jigsaw puzzle or out in the yard gardening. Her favorite way to spend her time was doing anything with family. She loved to plan family dinners and special outings and activities for the grandkids.
Carol was a very active member in her church as well as with Eastern Star (Covered Bridge Chapter #591, OH & Millbrook Chapter #293, NC). Above all, she was a selfless woman of God, one with the purest of hearts whose concerns of others were always more important to her than those of her own. Through all of her pain, even up until her last moments, she would always say “I’m fine”.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bruce and Bobby.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Wendell United Methodist Church, located at 129 N. Main St., Wendell NC. A memorial visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:45 preceding the service.

Carol is survived by her husband, Dennis James Rich, a union blessed by God to endure 39 years; her son, Chris Wolfgang (Heather); her grandchildren, Kristen Brininger (Alex), Katrina Brai White (Brian), Zane Wolfgang, Blaze Wolfgang; 2 great grandchildren, Destiny and Ava; her siblings, David Snyder, Nancy Sabo and Wendy Turner (Jerry).
