Carol Richardson Hopkins
January 17, 1936 – May 10, 2015
ZEBULON – Carol Richardson Hopkins, 79, died Sunday with her family by her side. A native of Wake County she was daughter to the late Edwin Carroll & Thais Pearl Medlin Richardson. She attended ECU and was retired from the NCDOT. Carol was a precious mother, grandmother & sister. She touched the lives of all who knew her with grace and humility, and with her unrelenting faith in the goodness of people. She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Edwin Richardson.
She is survived by her daughters, Edith Howe of Zebulon, Denise H. Forsyth of Four Oaks, brother, Tim Richardson (Sandra) of Zebulon, grandson, David Forsyth (Katie), and great grandson, Dalton Gentry Forsyth.
Memorial funeral service 11am, Friday, May 15, Zebulon Baptist Church with visitation from 9:30 – 10:45 am, prior to the service in the church parlor. Inurnment will follow in the Zebulon Town Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell.
