December 16, 1942 – October 31, 2020

Archer Lodge – Brenda Lee Green Davis, 77, passed away on Saturday following a short illness.  She was born in Archer Lodge, Johnston County, where she lived her entire life, to the late Labon Williamson and Janie Lee Barnes Green.  Brenda loved to talk with people and will be missed by many in Archer Lodge and by everyone who got to meet her.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Thomas W. Davis & sister, Billie G. Parker.

She is survived by her son, Randy T. Davis (Sharon), daughter, Tammy D. Wood (Randy), grandchildren, Brian Davis (Pamela), Scott Davis (Jamie), Dalton Wood, Davis Wood, great grandchildren, Caleb, Makayla, Nataleigh Mae, Makenzie, Felton Cash, several nieces, nephews, extended family & her canine companion, Poochie.

Flowers welcomed, or memorials may be made to the White Oak Caregivers.

Funeral 3 pm, Wednesday, White Oak Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Available at www.facebook.com/stricklandfuneral.  She will lie in repose 4-5 pm, Tuesday, Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. Masks are required as recommended by the CDC guidelines during COVID-19.
