KENLY – Bonnie Wilder Boone, 63, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born, April 11, 1958, in Johnston County to the late Connie and Virginia Woodard Wilder. She worked as Manager of Pope’s Dry Cleaners for many years. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by a brother, Ray Wilder.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Johnnie Boone; daughter, April Lee (Zachery Meade); grandchildren, Coleman Jace Lee, Olivia Maddison Meade and Jerry Allen Meade; brothers, Robert Wilder (Sue) and Rex Wilder (JoAnn) and sister-in-law, Margaret Wilder.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, July 31, 4pm – 6pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC 27591.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bonnie’s Honor are requested to be made to Coleman c/o Johnny Boone, 1010 Creech Church Rd., Kenly, NC 27542.
Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Wendell.

My deepest sympathies to you Johnny and April. Bonnie had the biggest heart and I loved that her spirit was always positive. She was a dear friend and I will miss her deeply. She is reunited with her mother and I know I will see her again and get to laugh with her til it hurts like old times.
