Bonnie Turnage Padgett, 64, passed away on Monday at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Wake County to the late Houtty Turnage and Gertrude Edwards Turnage.  She worked as a payroll clerk for Capital Ford in Raleigh.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Danny Turnage.

Funeral service 10am, Friday, December 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 W. Third Street, Wendell, NC.  Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jolly Padgett of Zebulon; children, Angie Allen (Kevin) of Zebulon, Jonathan Padgett (Cynthia Deleur) of Dunn, Destiny Brackett (J’Don) of Zebulon; grandchildren, Bailey Boykin, Kyle Diedrich, Rayven Arnold, Savanna Arnold, KT Allen, Ocean Padgett, Chrissa Deleur, Ethan Padgett; great-grandchildren, Darius Brackett, Genesis Brackett; siblings, Linnie Alford, Flonnie Horton, Ruth Barham, Richard Turnage, Brenda Murray, Sheila King, Phyllis Leonard, Tracy Leonard and a special sister-in-law, Stacie Turnage.

Visitation 6 – 7:30pm, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory, Wendell. Arrangements entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Wendell.  www.stricklandfuneral.com

    Sending our most heartfelt condolences to the entire family. What I remember most about Bonnie is her big infectious laugh. She laughed so hard and you just had to laugh with her! May God bless you with peace and good memories.
