ROBINWOOD – Bobby Randolph Hocutt, 66, died Thursday.  A native of Johnston County he was son to the late Joseph Allison & Alee Morgan Hocutt.  He worked for 22 years at EATON Corp.  Bobby was a cut up who loved to make people smile and never at anyone else’s expense.  He was a wonderful husband, brother, friend, & Christian who will be missed by many.  He was preceded in death by siblings, Alfred, Garthan, Curtis Harold, Joseph, Samuel, Vivian Henson, Mary Huff, Stella Dudley, and Lamon.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Elizabeth Brown Hocutt of the home, son, Christopher Lynn Harrell of FL, brothers, Donald (Doris) of Sharpsburg, William (Vickie), Reggie (Elaine) both of Raleigh, Allison (Paula) of Ayden, sisters, Ralchel Vause of Wendell, Rudine Hocutt, Brenda Sue Hocutt, both of Raleigh, Crettie Mitchell of Zebulon, and Betty Pearce (William) of Youngsville, grandson, Michael, father & mother-in-law, Oscar and Lillian Brown, brothers-in-law, Terry, Dennis, & James Brown (Bonnie) and sister-in-law Sarah Brown Taylor.

Flowers or memorials to the American Cancer Society are welcomed.  

Funeral service will be 2 pm, Saturday, Baptist Tabernacle Church with visitation from 12:30 pm to 2 pm, prior to the service.  Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell.
