Betty May Carlyle Bunn
December 23, 1939 – December 21, 2025
Betty May Carlyle Bunn, 85, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2025. She worked hard all her life and loved working outdoors. Betty had a vegetable garden every year. She worked on the farm and in sewing factories. Betty loved the Lord and enjoyed being at church. She loved her family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Shelton “Shot” Glenn Bunn; son-in-law, Larry Ray Thomasson; parents Burl and Glatha Carlyle; sisters, Beulah, Vianna, Doris, Mumie, Bethie; and brothers, Darnell, Delbert, Tommy, and Izell.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Bunn Thomasson, and son, Douglas Glenn Bunn (Lori); grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Alyssa; great-granddaughter, Riley; brother, Curlee Coy Chester; and sisters, Glenda and Irene. Betty is also survived by her fur grandpuppy, Cocoa.
