Betty Lou Brown Narron

September 11, 1936 – June 30, 2022

MIDDLESEX – Betty Lou Brown Narron, 85, went home to be the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2022. She was born in Nash County to the late Willie & Myrtle Manning Brown. Betty Lou worked as a Bookkeeper for Southeastern Marketing until she retired. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of North Carolina, 293 Millbrook Chapter for over 50 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years, Sam F. Narron and sister, Helen Jean Brown Perry.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Narron Huffman (Danny) and grandchildren, Brittany Leanna Turner (Thomas) & Samantha Danielle Huffman (Matthew).

A funeral will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, 758 Friendship Church Rd, Middlesex, NC 27557. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to service from 1:30 PM- 3 PM at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W.     Betty Lou was such a sweet and kind person who always had a gentle response to everyone. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with her at our family reunions. May your family be covered with God’s peace as you remember your mom and grandmother and cherish the memories you created together.
