Bert John Hruska
August 4, 1927 – March 31, 2016
CLAYTON – Bert John Hruska, 88, died Thursday. A native of NY, NY, he was son to the late Bretislav & Anna Linhart Hruska. Bert worked for the Children’s Aid Society for over 20years and Self-Help for many years. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Emily Mary Minarovich Hruska of the home, children, Doug and Linda, & brother Joseph Hruska (Greta) of College Point, NY.
Graveside service 2 pm, Monday, Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell.
