February 26, 1949 – November 7, 2018

ZEBULON – Benny Wayland Perry, 69, died Wednesday. He was born in Wake County to the late Wayland Marcus and Myrtle Neville Perry. He worked as a machinist for Westinghouse. He was preceded in death by siblings, Marion & Johnny Perry, Maryann Deans, Nancy King, Dean Brantley, Betty Jones, aunts, Ruth Carroll & Madeline Richards and uncle, B.W. Neville.

Funeral service 10:30am, Saturday, Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Neville of Rolesville and multiple nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund or to the SPCA of Wake County.

The family will receive friends at the home following the service and other times.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. May you draw comfort from knowing that God cares about you and will comfort you during this time of mourning. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 reads: “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.”
