Barbara Daniel Sheffield
February 23, 1931 – November 10, 2018
HIGH POINT – Barbara Daniel Sheffield, 87, passed away Saturday. She was born in Douglas, Georgia to the late Gardner Puckett and Evelyn Blount Daniel. She and her husband, Dannie Calvin Sheffield, Sr., owned and operated several businesses, including the Sears store in Shallotte, NC, for more than 20 years. The two were long time members of Shallotte Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband.
A private family service is planned.
She is survived by her sons, Dannie Sheffield, Jr. of Barrow, Alaska & Gardner Sheffield of Greensboro, sister, Diane D. Sledge, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
