BARBARA CHARLOTTE FIELDS DONOHUE

PILOT COMMUNITY – Barbara Charlotte Fields Donohue, 73, formerly of Romney, WV, died Friday at home. A native of Fairfax VA she was daughter to the late William & Pearl Bell Fields. Mrs. Donahue cared for children all her life and loved to scrapbook, quilt, and ceramics. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Donohue, a grandchild and a step grandchild.
She is survived by children, Butch Ritsy Smith II (Sheila) of Cusseta, AL; Brenda Denise Murrell (Rodney) of Aiken, SC; Kathy Lynn Smith of Chesapeake, VA; Susan Diane Smith of Beverly, WV; stepdaughter, Rose Marie Donohue Hearn of Stafford, VA; granddaughter, Erin Nazelrod of Zebulon, N.C.; siblings, Gregory Fields (Pat) of Manassas, VA; Eddie Fields of Stafford, VA; Shirley Smith (Harmon) of Mineral, VA; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 8 pm, Monday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, prior to the service.
