KILL DEVIL HILLS – Annie Rose Wells, daughter to the late Ida Allen and Kelly James Hunter left this earth on Wednesday.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert D. Wells.

Annie Rose was well thought of in the community of Kill Devil Hills and by her friends and neighbors and was always willing to “lend a hand” without being asked.  She was known for her quick wit and frank straightforward answers.

Among the several groups she enjoyed was her favorite, The Thomas A. Baum Senior Center.  She was their best ambassador with her never ending volunteering.  Annie Rose especially enjoyed decorating the Baum Center and was well known for her seasonal windows in the main lobby.  Decorating for Christmas at the Baum Center was her passion.
