Annette Batchelor Boykin
April 4, 1939 – May 25, 2024

On May 25th, 2024, Annette Boykin was called home to be with the Lord. Annette was born on April 4th, 1939 to the late William Earl and Annie Williams Batchelor. She was a faithful and lifelong member of Social Plains Baptist Church where she played the piano for over 65 years.

She was predeceased by her husband J.W. Boykin, daughters Wanda Boykin Tyson and Laura Denise Parker, her granddaughter Nikki Parker, her brothers Wallace, Robert, and Eddie Batchelor, and sisters Betty Batchelor Oakley and Lacy Batchelor Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Terry) and Anthony (Lulu), son- in- law Roger Parker (fiance Ines Santos-Werner) Grandchildren Jessica Harris (Lee), David Price, Brandon Stelck and Aaron Stelck (Jenna), Great-Grandchildren Stephen Perry (Jodie), Shayla Harris, Lionel and Ellie Stelck. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred West, and her sister in laws, Eleanor Batchelor Maxey and Dot Batchelor, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Annette loved her Lord and her family, and we rest in the comfort that we will see her again one day in Heaven. Visitation will be at Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell on Wednesday, May 29th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Funeral will be at Social Plains Baptist Church on Thursday, May 30th at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers are welcomed or contributions can be made to Social Plains Women on Mission, a special group of women who were near and dear to her heart.
