Andrew Louis Collins
January 7, 1983 – July 1, 2023
Archer Lodge – Andrew Louis Collins, 40, departed this life on July 1, 2023. He was born in Wake County to Bennie Carlyle and Jan Raybon Collins. He worked as an Asset Protection Leader for Target Corp. Andrew had a love for sports and would never miss a Carolina Hurricanes game or a football game at N.C. State. His fantasy football teams were always a work of art and something he looked forward to every football season.
Outside of the couch, the beach was his favorite place to be. Annual trips to Atlantic Beach have given the family wonderful memories that will last for a lifetime. His mother passed along her love of shell hunting to Andrew. This was his favorite thing to do with his wife and children while there, other than eating seafood, of course.
He had an unimaginable love for his family and his sense of humor gave him the ability to make you smile on your worst days. He was the epitome of calm, cool, and collected that infected everyone around him. Andrew was the most wonderful man and to know him was to love him. Andrew will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him and he leaves a void that can never be filled.
Please join the family on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 for visitation at 2pm with a memorial service to follow at 3pm at Wendell Baptist Church – 3651 Wendell Blvd, Wendell, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 3 years and the love of his life, Kelsey Lynn Collins, his son, Andrew “A.J.” Louis Collins Jr., his daughters, Ava Grace Collins and Scarlett Rose Collins, his brothers, Patrick Collins (Becky), and Brandon Collins (Jenn), 7 nieces and nephews, Katelyn Collins, Seth Collins, Harrison Collins, Baelynn Chomicki, Aubrianna Chomicki, Sophie Collins and Sienna DonDiego.

I worked with Andrew at Target Whiteoak in Garner. He was a funny, kind person who was always a pleasure to be around. Prayers and sympathies are with Kelsey and their families, rest in peace Andrew.
To Bennie, Jan and the Collins Family, you are in my most sincere thoughts and prayers during this time of family loss. Andrew was always a kind, friendly and caring person. When he worked at Auto Bell in Knightdale, he would always detail my truck and did a superb job every time. He will truly be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him. May you find strength and comfort through your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the days ahead, until you meet again.
