In Loving Memory of Adrian Peña Montiel

Adrian Peña Montiel, age 59, of Wendell, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1967, in Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo.

Adrian will be remembered for his generous heart, kind spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. He enjoyed driving around in his truck, spending time outdoors with his beloved dog, and watching soccer. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and the memories they created together.

Adrian is survived by his partner, Maria; his children, Julio, Diana, and Alejandra; and his grandchildren, Tahalli, Ameyali, Yamilet, Aaron, Mailen, Adiel, Romina, and Emiliano. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, along with many other family members and loved ones who will deeply miss him.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery.

Adrian Peña Montiel, de 59 años, de Wendell, Carolina del Norte, falleció en paz el 12 de agosto de 2026. Nació el 8 de julio de 1967 en Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo.

Adrian será recordado por su gran corazón, su espíritu bondadoso y el amor que compartió con todos los que lo rodeaban. Disfrutaba manejar en su camioneta, pasar tiempo al aire libre con su querido perro y ver partidos de fútbol. Sobre todo, atesoraba los momentos junto a su familia y los recuerdos que compartieron.

Adrian deja a su pareja, María; sus hijos, Julio, Diana y Alejandra; y sus nietos, Tahalli, Ameyali, Yamilet, Aaron, Mailen, Adiel, Romina y Emiliano. También le sobreviven sus hermanos y hermanas, así como muchos otros familiares y seres queridos que lo extrañarán profundamente.

Su recuerdo permanecerá para siempre en el corazón de todos aquellos que lo conocieron y amaron. Será profundamente extrañado y recordado por siempre.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 15 de agosto de 2026 a las 11:00 a. m. en la capilla de la Funeraria y Crematorio Strickland. El velorio se realizará antes del servicio, de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m. El sepelio tendrá lugar en el Cementerio Greenmount.
