Adam was such a positive person. We loved having him on our cheerleading team at East Wake. Praying for the family and especially his son.

Adam was a wonderful caring man who always had a smile for everyone in the room. So sad that such a great soul was lost early in his journey of a life that he contributed so much to all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this most difficult time.

A long, long time ago, I was Adam’s 6th grade teacher. I remember his blonde hair, bright smile and joy. Being a huge baseball fan, I complimented Adam on the baseball jersey he had on in class one day. I think he had worn it in a LL All Star game. The next afternoon, Adam brought me the jersey. “I would have given it to you yesterday, Mrs. R, but I had to wash it.” I was so touched by that gesture. I never forgot it. God speed, Adam. And thank you.

Adam had such a wonderful personality and his smile was contagious. I remember going over to his house when we were real young and him having a pet snake. At the time, I never knew anyone to have a love for them like he did. That love never changed. Many years later he would come spend the night with Brad and I at our dorm room. Of course he didn’t come alone. He always had several rubbermaid tubs with him, containing some snakes or other animals that he had to bring in; because he could not leave them in the car. So many good times with you friend, I pray for your family and I look forward to seeing you in the next life.

I went to high school with Adam and he was so full of life. In the past few years Adam heard I was battling a health crisis and he reached out to me. It was great to hear from him, catch up and he offered his support if I needed anything. We stayed in touch and his passing is such a shock. I am not a reptile enthusiast but he always tried to make me one. I may have lost a friend but we have another angel looking out for us.
